After hosting Saturday Night Live for the second time, Dakota Johnson had a unique reunion. Justin Timberlake, the evening’s musical guest, joined Johnson during her speech on Saturday to reminisce about their previous on-screen collaboration, which was in the popular drama ‘The Social Network’ from 2010.
“We were actually in a movie together, called The Social Network,” Johnson, 34, added during her standup. He continued, “Tonight is also a sort of reunion for me and Justin Timberlake.”
The 42-year-old Timberlake played the actual Napster founder and former Facebook President Sean Parker in the movie. In one scene, Johnson co-starred with Timberlake as a young Stanford student who introduced Parker to Facebook and went to bed with him. Johnson portrayed his first adult on-screen character in the film.
Timberlake then made an appearance on the SNL stage next to the actress when the movie was mentioned.
“What are you doing up here, are you lost?” The singer said that he had heard Johnson’s voice and assumed that was a signal when he was questioned. Following some back and forth, Timberlake said he would be happy to assist with any sketches and stated that he has hosted before, to which the actress retorted that it “was 10 years ago.”

In another part of her introductory statement, Johnson acknowledged Taylor Swift.
Highlights of Johnson’s big night also included a special Shark Tank reenactment featuring two guest star sharks, Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran, and a sketch making fun of America’s Stanley Cup fever.
Johnson appeared on the sketch series for the first time on Saturday since making her television debut in 2015. NBC broadcasts Saturday Night Live every Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET. Madame Web opens in theaters on February 14.
