The NBC late-night comedy program announced that Ariana Grande and Kacey Musgraves will both be performing on Saturday Night Live next month to advertise their forthcoming March album releases.

When Sydney Sweeney, star of Anyone But You, hosts the March 2 broadcast, Musgraves will join her on the stage, and on March 9, Grande will be with host Josh Brolin.

Next month marks the release of new albums by both musicians. On March 8, Grande will release her eighth album, Eternal Sunshine, which will feature the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100, “Yes, And?”. Deeper Well, Musgraves’ sixth album, will be released on March 15 and features the title track.

Grande has previously made two appearances on Saturday Night Live: once in September 2014 as the musical guest and again in March 2016 serving as both host and performer. Additionally, this will be Musgraves’ third appearance on the program. She previously appeared as a musical guest in May 2018 and in October 2021.

In regards to the hosts, Brolin has hosted twice before, in October 2008 and April 2012, while Sweeney will be making her debut on Saturday Night Live next month.

The originally announced arrangement for the upcoming weekend features musical guest 21 Savage, who released his No. 1 Billboard 200 album American Dream last month, and host Shane Gillis, a stand-up comedian who initially was announced as a new SNL cast member in 2019 but had his employment revoked after podcast clips featuring ethnic slurs surfaced. For both, it will be their SNL debut. Saturday Night Live streams on Peacock and airs on NBC on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.
