Actress and Recording Artist Izabellah Diez is calling out all those “Fake Friends” in her debut original single. The track will be streaming on all services starting July 19th. Rather than linger in the heartbreak of finding out some of her friends weren’t as loyal as she thought, Izabellah put those emotions into a poem. With the help of her team that poem became this song that her fans will certainly love.
When did you first start making music?
I started playing around with music in January 2023. Writing poems and then turning them into lyrics.
What influences have inspired your sound the most?
Jessie Murph and Rihanna is what really inspired me for my sound in my music. I am excited for you all to hear my first original and to hear what I have coming soon.
Is there a constant meaning or message behind your music?
The message for “Fake Friends” was just waking up one day when I realized that I had people in my life who I thought were my actual friends. Learning they did not care about me at all. People who I thought we were like sisters only to find out that they just were only talking about me and trying to ruin my reputation. That is what was the inspiration for the track.
What advice would you give to new artists?
The advice I would give to new artists is to just not give up. Even when things seem to get tough, stick it out. Because in the end it is all worth it.

What has been your best moment as a musician so far?
I would say that my best moment as a musician so far is just being able to express my feelings and put it out so others can hear it. Hopefully my experiences will help others through my music.
What do you like most about playing music?
What I like the most is truly the creating process. I would love to also write music someday for other artists to sing as well. I love writing poems and turning them into lyrics for a song.
What is the hardest part about being a musician?
I would say the hardest part about being a musician is trying to create my own sound and hoping people will enjoy what I am creating.
