Model and Content Creator Brooklyn Riley doesn’t mind working hard to reach her goals. Since she started in the industry at just five years old, she has been striving to be the best she can be. As a model, Brooklyn works hard for every designer and has set her sights on walking the biggest runways all over the world. As a content creator, she keeps her page positive, inspiring other creators to do the same. Brooklyn loves what she does, and it shows! I recently was lucky to be able to ask Brooklyn some questions about her career and her social media.
1. When did you first start modeling?
I started modeling when I was 5 years old. I signed with a local Talent agency and started doing commercials and advertisements soon after that. I would then start working for boutiques and other companies and model for them.
2. What influences have inspired your career the most?
I love Adriana Lima and I have always been inspired to be like her. I remember watching her on the runway for Victoria Secret and thinking I could do that! I think that’s why I was so drawn to Krissy King and wanted to walk for her. At an early age she was already walking for big designers such as Versace, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and so many more high fashion brands.
3. Is there a constant meaning or message behind your Instagram content?
Not really, I just always try and post positive things and share my life with my followers.
4. What advice would you give to new artists?
Never give up! Sometimes we can become frustrated when we don’t get the job or brand we want. I always say just keep pushing and the right one will come along. I’ve had many brands not accept me but it’s mainly because of my age but I don’t give up. I just find the right one for me. Also, a really good portfolio, practice on poses and your walk if you are going into modeling!
5. What has been your best moment as a model so far?
Meeting so many amazing people in the industry and getting to share so many memories with them. I have traveled the world with people I have met in the industry, and I cherish those moments so much!
6. What do you like most about modeling? What do you like most about creating content?
I love to be in front of the camera when it comes to modeling. I just feel comfortable and have a great time doing shoots. I also love being on the runway! It’s so exciting and when I’m on stage it’s such a rush to walk down the stage and get to show off the designs to so many people.
What I like about creating content is I get to share so much of my life with people that I normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to. I love to travel with my friends and experience so much and I have the pleasure to share this with everyone!
7. What is the hardest part about being a model and content creator?
It can be a lot of work. Most people don’t see the hours that’s put in, especially with content. It can take hours to get everything done to be posted. I work almost every day in some way just to share my content. When I go on trips to walk for designers I never stop working! I am always busy and sometimes I don’t even have time to eat. I usually pack protein bars with me so I can have that just in case. It all looks so fun but behind the scenes it’s a lot of work!
