Julia Garcia Loves the Little Moments

Julia Garcia is enjoying every moment of her illustrious career. Even though she is still a teen, Julia has quite an extensive resume. You might recognize her from Disney’s “Sydney to the Max” or you might recognize her from the content she creates on social media. It seems Julia is everywhere these days, yet she is humbled by the work that comes her way.  I recently interviewed Julia about her career and got a little insight from this rising star.

You are an actress and a content creator. When did you first start acting? When did you first start creating content?

I started acting when I was five years old, which was really fun, I loved everything about being on set. I started with content creating on Musically when I was eight but content creating became a real passion during covid and lockdown.

What influences have inspired your career the most?

Dance has been a strong influence for me, performing under pressure and the process of auditioning helped pave the way for me with acting. Movies like ‘High school Musical,’ and ‘Another Cinderella Story,’ with Selena Gomez helped me visualize my career path.

Is there a constant meaning or message behind your Instagram content or the scripts you choose?

I try to keep my Instagram content relatable with my feed posts leaning to esthetic and fashion.In regard to choosing scripts, I actually fall in love with so many projects that I read, I feel the scripts end up choosing me.

What advice would you give to new artists?

The best advice I could give someone is to align your goals with what makes you happy. This way your career and goals with be fulfilling. Enjoy the process and never give up.  I firmly believe that there is no such thing as a missed opportunity, it’s either for you or it’s not. Your time will come.

What has been your best moment as an actress so far?

There are so many special moments along the way that help establish you in your career. I’ve had amazing moments of meeting huge celebrities and learning from them but at the end of the day, for me, it’s about the little moments and my personal growth and achievements that have helped elevate me in my career.

What do you like most about acting? What do you like most about creating content?

I enjoy challenging myself in a vulnerable way with acting, I love telling meaningful stories to the world. With content creating I like showing sides of myself that not a lot of people get to see.  I’m passionate about making content people can relate to.

What is the hardest part about being an actress? What is the hardest part about being a content creator?

The hardest part about being an actress is to not get discouraged or take things personal. You’ll get more no’s than yeses but stay focused it’s definitely a numbers game. With content creating, it’s important to stay true to yourself and to things your way and on your terms. There’s a grey area with content creating that allows you to put your own spin on things.
