Renowned singer Michael Bolton recently disclosed that he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and will be taking a hiatus from touring to focus on his recovery after undergoing surgery.
Grammy-winning artist wrote a heartfelt message on social media; Well wishes for the new year and the unexpected obstacles that 2023 brought his way. Just before the holidays, he was discovered to have a brain tumor, which made me go through immediate surgery. He revealed all this on his social media and added to that, “I am grateful that it went successfully and now at rest at home, surrounded by the unwavering love and support of family”.
During this period, Bolton has made the decision to take a temporary break from touring, redirecting his time and energy towards his recovery over the next few months. While acknowledging the part that by hearing about postponing shows his fans will be disappointed.
But the beloved singer assured them of his unwavering commitment to heal as soon and return to the stage as soon as possible. He expressed profound gratitude for the immense love and support he has received from his fans throughout the years, assuring them that their positive messages are cherished. He said that he will update the fans side by side about his health.
He had numerous shows scheduled across the United States before embarking on a European tour in the spring.
In the previous year, the artist released two albums, namely “Spark of Light” and “Christmas Time.” Bolton shared with Billboard that he began crafting songs for “Spark of Light” during the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
